Resources for my Research Question~
Out of the 25 questions, I chose to research about what would happen if the moon disappeared. I chose this question because it makes me wonder if the moon really effects anything that has to do with the Earth, because nobody really knows for certain that it would effect anything. I want to know more of the reasons the moon is there and I think it'll be interesting to learn more about.
So after researching on Google, I came across a site that I think would help my research more than others. The site is http://www.howeverythingworks.org/page1.php?QNum=212. This website lists like things that are most likely going to happen. I am also going to try to look for books based on my research question to give me more of an idea of the possibilities. It is less likely the moon would disappear, but so many people don't know how the moon formed and the effects it has on the Earth and life on Earth as well. I'd like to prove that the moon is very important, just like Earth itself.
Book Trailer Ideas~
For my English class, I have to make a book trailer for one of my SSR books. I have chosen to do Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I chose this book because I know this book the most and it's a pretty decent book. I plan on making my trailer by getting a few photos about the book to make a slideshow power point or try to get some clips from the movie, Twilight, if we can. I'm not sure which idea I will choose, but I will figure it out how I will do it.

Killing Us Softly 3
The film Killing us Softly 3 brought about a lot of insight to Bozwell and I. Both of us never really noticed the amount of sexism in the ads we see every day. We noticed some of this but not to the degree that we saw in the film. What I noticed is how many of the ads shown portrayed many cruel ideals towards woman. One example, is one ad where a women was used as a footrest for a man in an advertisement for skateboards. Something that surprised me is how greatly the sexist adds have augmented over the years. One reason we probably never noticed these things is because of the amount that we see. A statistic in the movie showed that the average American sees 3,000 ads every day. After viewing the movie Bozwell and I had some questions. One thing Bozwell asked is "How/Why do these ads have such an affect on woman?" Honestly, he is not exactly sure of this answer but he is sure there are many different ones. I asked "Why do you think men aren't portarayed the same way as woman?" If one thing is for certain, it is that both of these questions give something to think about. Ultimately, Killing Us Softly 3 was a very insightful movie for Bozwell and I and allowed us to view these ads we see every day much differently.
Romeo & Juliet's Song. [:
The song "4 Ever" by The Veronicas can be related to Romeo and Juliet because Romeo doesn't waste time trying to get Juliet to like him, and he doesn't care if she's a Capulet. The song is saying don't waste your time, & we don't have forever to do stuff we really want to do, so just do it. Romeo certainly doesn't waste time because he got Juliet to fall in love with him for a couple of hours and secretly marry her in the next day. So that's why I probably didn't pick "One Step At A Time" by Jordin Sparks, haha. [:

Favorites ~
I have a lot of favorite things, so many it would take me hours posting them. So the basics are family & friends, myspace, and music.
I love all my family and friends but they're all pretty much all over the place so I can't see them often. Most of my mom and dad's families are in South Korea so I haven't seen some of them since I was like 5 and other I haven't even got a chance to meet. My relatives that do live here are my grandparents, 3 aunts and 3 uncles, and 6 cousins. My grandparents live in Salinas so I get to see them often, my aunts and uncles and cousins live in Sacramento, San Jose, and Peoria, AZ so I don't see them as much as I'd like. Especially my cousins in Arizona. I rarely get to see them now ever since they moved from Milpitas. I also miss my friends from Salinas. It feels so weird and different being apart from them. I was so close to them I could call them my sisters and brothers. But everytime I see them I get this sorta rush in my body; it makes me smile so much and makes me feel like I'm hyper. [:
I love myspace, I have been hooked for about 4 years now, I think. It helps me stay connected with my cousins and friends from Salinas. It is also helpful like a phone. You can ask for homework help (it's not cheating, really) and ask for what you missed if you were absent for school that day.
Last, but not least, of my basic favorites is music. It calms my mind and puts all the bad things that happened past me. It also makes chores faster and more interesting.
